Concentrix Tactical Airsoft Group

I took up a new hobby. It can be considered by most as a lucrative hobby but when you get to look at it at an over-all perspective, it's worth every penny. Well, any hobby that you choose to be serious about would really entail you to spend. Good thing that my hobby is within reasonable reach. Any average earning employee like me would be able to afford and maintain such hobby.

Okay... okay. It's not water related, since most water-related hobbies are costly too (ie: surfing, wakeboarding, diving). It's not driving-related (cars, racing) and it's not girl-collecting either (way too expensive).

What the heck am I talking about?

It's something known as Airsoft.

Airsoft is similar to Paintball, the only difference is that Airsoft uses plastic BB pellets and has way more cooler guns compared to paintball. I've wanted to play airsoft since my college days but couldn't do it due to lack of finances.

Anyway, I got all my basic gear ready and couldn't wait to play. Good thing about this sport is when you have a lot more people interested in it, you can meet up and play whenever your schedules permit. It's good exercise and a good way to make friends because after the shooting's done, everybody keeps their cool because Airsoft is also considered a sport.

I recently learned that a colleague of mine at Concentrix was a dedicated Airsoft enthusiast. He offered a good deal for a Jing Gong HK 416 and M4. I chose the HK416 because I liked how it felt compared to the M4. Other people knew about the deal and started ordering as well. Even the top bosses got their own guns. Sir Ramil even got two.

Anyway... this blog is turning out to be boring.

On with the fun stuff...

We had our first skirmish earlier at 0900H. Man, it was hot!!! Freaking HOT!!! But it was fun!!!
Lots of fun!!! We were only 7 players since some were not able to complete their gears but we still managed. We played at the SAG site and it was a bit grassy and full of debris and goat poop all over. It's cool though. This is military-simulation anyway. Sir Ritche briefed us on some basic dos and donts. The SAG site is a cool site though it may seem to be built in a hurry. If we enjoyed playing there, I'm sure everyone else would. We didn't get to maximize the whole site since we're just seven. 4 against 3 most of the time but the last 2 games it was a 3 on 3 since the heat and the physicality of the game got most out of Sir Junar and Sir Ramil. 2 hours worth of playing and it was like a half-day of basketball for me. It was well worth it. I took some pictures but their all "non-combat" shots since it's hard to shoot the camera and my gun at the same time.

I'll let the pictures do the talking. We'll be playing next week again, and I think this would soon be a weekly thing.

We're still noobs but with more practice, we'll be better at it.

By the way, my 2 kills were by way of headshots. Can't see much of the body coz of the covering blocks.

My hunee wants to watch next time we play, so I'm sure we'll have better pics next time.
